DepressedI'm not in the greatest mood. Today has been a horrible day. I wont get into it, cause it's really none of your business and I'm sure you wouldn't want to hear it anyways.
What I'm really upset about is that one of my best friends has gone back home. She was an exchange student from Germany who was living with my best friend. It's weird, you know, that you could become so close to a person in merely six months. Most exchange students become fairly close to their host families, but she just seemed to fit in so perfectly it felt as though she had been around for years. It's devastating for us now that she's gone. I was close to her (even though if you looked at the two of us you would never imagine us being friends, we're pretty different) but her and my best friend were even closer. They saw each other every morning, went to school together, joined track together, had chorus together, they went everywhere together. They were so close, and now she's just gone. POOF! All gone. Imagine how that must suck. It must be like quitting something cold turkey. You're so used to having it there and suddenly it's gone and you just want it so bad that it hurts.
We had a bawl fest at the airport.
And then to add to the anguish of a friend leaving, a bunch of other shit is going wrong. I don't think my happy pills can keep me very happy for much longer...

Once upon a time there was a pencil named Doug.
He lived in an office inside of a coffee mug.
When he grew up he wanted to be a spool of thread.
But he soon realized he had a head full of lead.
That silly little pencil named Doug.
